INDIANAPOLIS -- With the assistance of a victim and the IUPUI community, police identified and interviewed a person of interest Tuesday possibly connected to the multiple sexual assault reports on campus.

IUPUI officials said no one was arrested, and the investigation will continue.

The two separate incidents reportedly happened Friday and Monday.

According to an IUPUI press release, the rape happened Friday at around 3:30 p.m. at the Riverwalk Apartments. In the second incident, the victim said they were fondled Monday at 2:50 p.m. near the 900 block of W. New York Street.

Police said the suspect in both incidents is the same person.

He is described as a man with a dark complexion and dark brown hair. He is about 5-foot-6-inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. On Monday, he was wearing black Nike basketball shorts, white Nike shoes and a maroon sweatshirt.

Both victims said the suspect approached them and talked to them before the assaults.

According to IUPUI's Annual Security Report, there were three cases of rape on campus, three in residential facilities, two non-campus rapes and one on public property in 2015.
