VIDEO: Robbery suspects lead police on chase

INDIANAPOLIS --Police have caught two of three robbery suspects who held multiple people at gunpoint and led police on a chase into Marion County Thursday morning.

The incident began around midnight, when a two suspects stole a Washington Township firefighter's Hummer. He was pumping gas at a station in Clermont, Indiana when the two suspects took the vehicle at gunpoint.

The victim has now seen both sides of being a first responder.

"It gives me a whole new appreciation for law enforcement officers and what they do on a regular basis," the victim said. "I've never had a gun pointed at me until today. Today it was two at the same time. I appreciate anybody who does that for a living."

After stealing the Hummer, the suspects then robbed a hotel in Seymour, Indiana and a gas station in Columbus, Indiana, police said.

The Hummer was spotted by an officer with the Indiana State Police in Johnson County. The suspects were chased into Marion County, where they crashed the Hummer near the Berkeley Common Apartments in the 8200 block of Madison Avenue. 

By 9:30, police had arrested two of the suspects. 

The suspect are considered armed and dangerous. If you see them, call 911.
