INDIANAPOLIS -- No students were injured Monday morning when a suspect driving a stolen vehicle crashed into a school bus on Indianapolis' south side.
The crash happened in the 4100 block of El Lago Boulevard around 8 a.m.
The incident began when the suspect crashed near the intersection of Sherman Drive and Hanna Avenue. He got out of his car and stole a van while it was warming up in the Stone Lake Lodge Apartments.
While in the stolen van, the man sideswiped a Perry Township school bus and narrowly missed a mother walking her kids to the bus stop, police said
The suspect was caught in the complex.
