INDIANAPOLIS – Three people were arrested Friday for stealing packages from the front porches of several homes in Indianapolis, Speedway and Avon, according to IMPD.
The first set of packages were reportedly stolen from multiple locations on the city’s northwest side and during both incidences, police received the vehicle’s license plate number or a surveillance video from witnesses and homeowners.
Police soon linked the driver’s license plate to the video.
On Friday investigators saw the three suspects steal packages from a front porch in an Avon neighborhood around 4:30 p.m.
Officers then arrested 19-year-old Chrystopher Brubaker, 18-year-old Ashley White and a 17-year-old juvenile.
The suspects were taken to the Hendricks County Jail.
