TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Vigo County prosecutors filed felony neglect charges Tuesday against a couple accused of starving their 5-year-old daughter to death.

Brian Moseman, 36, and Tiffany Daugherty, 33, face five counts each of felony neglect of a dependent.

Prosecutors allege Moseman and Daugherty failed to provide adequate nutrition for their daughter, who died Jan. 21, 2016.

The arrests come just days after four other adults were charged with felony neglect and maintaining a common nuisance in the death of 9-year-old Cameron R. Hoopingarner.

Hoopingarner was found severely malnourished in a Vigo County home in late February. He died a short time later at Union Hospital.

An autopsy subsequently revealed he had methamphetamine in his system at the time of his death.

Four adults – Hubert Kraemer, 56, Chad Kraemer, 33, Robin Kraemer, 53, and Sarah Travioli, 30 – are charged in that case.

As of Wednesday afternoon, Moseman and Daugherty were being held at the Vigo County Jail on bonds of $75,000 apiece.
