'Duck Dynasty' finale draws big audience

Popular show becomes A&E's most-watched telecast


It seems more and more viewers are flocking to watch "Duck Dynasty."

Wednesday night's season finale drew 6.5 million viewers, making it A&E's most-watched telecast to date, according to a press release.

In its second season, "Duck Dynasty" has grown by 139% in total viewers.

The unscripted series stars the Robertson family, who found money and fame in the duck calls and decoys business with their brand, Duck Commander.

"'Duck Dynasty' represents the best of A&E's unique brand of storytelling, showcasing authentic and engaging characters," President of A&E Network and BIO Channel Bob DeBitetto said in a press release. "It's extremely gratifying to see more and more viewers flocking to the series week after week."

Fans of the series will have to wait until early next year for new episodes.
