DETROIT - Grazing on overgrown lots and parks?
It's an unusual idea getting some legs in Detroit. Can you envision goats and sheep serving as city lawn mowers?
Councilman James Tate says some residents brought the idea to him. He's doing research and exploring how it might be able to work.
Tate admits he thought the idea was weird at first and then he discovered there are pilot grazing programs in other cities across the country.
