INDIANAPOLIS -
One person was shot near the Steak n' Shake restaurant on the city's west side early Friday, Indianapolis Metro Police said.
Dispatchers said the shooting happened about 4:30 a.m. in the 5600 block of West 38 th Street.
Few details were immediately released about a motive behind the shooting.
The victim was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
