SAN DIEGO - A San Diego bus driver has been fired after he brought pot brownies to work, officials said.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Transit System said the driver, Ku'uipoaloha Lawler, 57, was fired after a hearing.
UT San Diego reported that other drivers who unknowingly ate the pot brownies are being allowed to return to work.
Officials said the drivers did the right thing -- by pulling over and calling for help as soon as they started feeling high.
Lawler claimed he didn't know the brownies were laced with weed.
