A kitten found dumped in a donation bin at the Humane Society of Indianapolis has found a new family at the shelter.

The tiny orange kitten, nicknamed Cheeto, was discovered abandoned in a donation bin last week.

After being brought into the shelter, a female cat with two young kittens has taken Cheeto in as her own, the shelter said via Facebook.

"He is safe and being well cared for now," the shelter posted. "He wasn't weaned and needed lots of TLC."

The Humane Society of Indianapolis stressed that the shelter only accepts as many animals as it can commit to each week. Those looking to surrender pets or strays should call the shelter for an appointment.
