State education leaders are investigating a possible breach in procedures during ISTEP testing at North Central High School.Indiana Department of Education spokeswoman Stephanie Sample confirmed that the agency was looking into an alleged incident."Any allegations of a teacher participating in or aiding a student cheating on a standardized test, or a teacher teaching outside of the standardized test guidelines, are initially investigated by the local school corporation," she said via email. "Upon completion of its investigation, the school corporation submits an irregularity report to the IDOE. The IDOE's Office of Legal Affairs evaluates the report and decides whether further investigation is warranted."Sample said it's unclear how many students may have been affected by the alleged breach.Washington Township Schools spokeswoman confirmed there was an investigation under way."We have nothing new at this time on the breach investigation," said Ellen Rogers.
