Tuesday was Kelly Armstrong's 28th birthday. Her family and friends got together in a Logansport church to pray that she makes it home safely.

Police arrested her boyfriend, Travis Funke, because he cut off a court-mandated ankle bracelet, police said, but the charge is not connected to Armstrong's disappearance.

Armstrong's father, David Armstrong, said it's excruciating to wait for answers concerning his daughter.

"Very tense, it's a very trying time," he said. "It's very, very hard."

Armstrong is the mother of an 18-month-old child who is in the care of Child Protective Services.
