A Lawrence firefighter who pleaded guilty to molesting a teenage relative more than a decade ago was found guilty this week of molesting another teen member of his family.A jury on Monday found Michael D. Kopp guilty of child molestation. Authorities said Kopp molested a relative for several years at Kopp's home on Indianapolis' northeast side, starting in 1997 when the relative was 13.Kopp previously pleaded guilty to molesting a teenage relative in July 1993 -- about two years before he joined the Lawrence Fire Department. He successfully petitioned a court to reduce his 1993 conviction from a felony to a misdemeanor, and when he applied to work at LFD, he lied about his criminal history, authorities said.Kopp was charged in the latest case in February. When he is sentenced next month, he could receive a maximum prison term of more than 100 years.
