A Fishers woman told police she awoke to find a masked man burglarizing her bedroom Thursday night.

Officers were called to a home in the 13100 block of Cresswell Place near 126th Street and Olio Road just before 11 p.m.

The woman told police she was alone and asleep in the master bedroom when a man came into the room and demanded money.

She said the man pushed her into the master bathroom and shut the door.

When she was certain the man had left the house, the woman told police she left the bathroom and activated the home's alarm.

Several pieces of jewelry and a laptop were discovered missing from the home, police said.

Police said the robber broke into the home through a basement window.

The man was described as 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin build.

He was wearing dark pants, a gray hooded sweatshirt and a dark mask or scarf over his face.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Detective Sgt. David Flynn at 317-595-3300.
