Not wanting to simply buy generic valentines for her classmates, a second-grader in Seattle made personalized ones -- with Braille on them.
The second-grade girl named Amelia -- who is blind -- made about 25 valentines for her classmates with the help of her parents, Mike and Gail.
The valentines have the recipient's name on them, along with a special message.
"She wrote in Braille, 'I think you’re really smart' or 'I think you’re really kind' or 'I think you’re a fast runner,'" Gail said, via the Huffington Post. "Whatever she notices about people."
The valentines are tied to a heart-shaped paper that says "LOVE" in type, and in Braille.
"She's an amazing girl. She reads Braille. She uses her echo location skills. She plays the violin," she told HuffPost. "She’s living a very regular awesome life."
