Empty cages at IACC after more than 700 pets adopted

INDIANAPOLIS - Indianapolis Animal Care and Control tweeted a picture of empty cages at their shelter after a successful weekend adoption event.

All the animals that filled the cages now have happy homes thanks to the inaugural Indy Mega Adoption Event at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

A total of 732 dogs and cats brought in from shelters across central Indiana were adopted through the event.

If you didn’t get the chance to adopt a pet and still want to, IACC is charging just $10 to adopt a furry friend. Check out adoptable pets here.
