INDIANAPOLIS -- A few members of the Wayne Township Fire Department did a pretty good deed Monday afternoon -- helping an elderly resident mow her lawn.
In a Facebook post by the fire department, about three firefighters helped the woman mow her small lawn near the street. They were on a medical call when they saw her struggling to mow her yard.
The post said they were from Engine 82.
Last week, Wayne Township Fire Department Deputy Chief Rick Scott saved a 6-year-old boy from drowning in a pond.
