INDIANAPOLIS -- Kids Dance Outreach, a local nonprofit, is creating an inclusive environment so kids of all backgrounds can have access to a high quality arts education.

"Showcase where these children are applauded by their family, by their school, by their community. They're applauded for their hard work. They're applauded for their persistence and the dedication and the discipline they've had to demonstrate over the past few weeks," said Michael Johnson, Founder, Kids Dance Outreach.

Students learn more than just pivot turns and box steps.  The program is creating a positive change in their lives and in the classroom.

SUPER School 19 is just one of many area schools enlisting the help of Kids Dance Outreach to teach young students to focus in a fun way.

Caitlin Rafael's daughter attends SUPER School 19, " It's amazing because it gets out of the routine of just the books and I've seen that it improves her grades a lot."

Kids Dance Outreach is looking for sponsors to help the provide programming at more area schools.  To learn about how you can help, and additional programs being offered, click here.
