NEWINGTON, Conn. - Starbucks customers in New England are still enjoying the Christmas spirit.
Patrons at a Connecticut Starbucks have been paying for the next customer’s coffee order in the drive-thru line since Tuesday morning.
By Friday morning, the number of people who had participated was almost 800.
The drive-thru transactions have ranged between $5 and $20, ABC News reported.
"I think it's awesome," said Nicole, the shift supervisor at the location, who is not permitted to give her last name per store policy. "I love this company so much and I'm so proud to work for them. This is what our company embodies. We're all really excited about it."
Last week, customers at a Nevada Starbucks paid it forward 73 times.
