INDIANAPOLIS - A woman was reunited with her dog that was taken from her car Saturday morning.
Sarah Young said that Martin, a 6-year-old lhasa apso, was taken from her car in the parking lot of a Whole Foods store on 86th Street on Monday.
Young said her father is in a nursing home and Martin had become her father’s therapy dog.
A man had found Martin in the parking lot of a Sam’s Club store on 86th Street on Tuesday, Young said.
He was caring for the dog until he saw a poster that Young had put on the door of a Nora post office Friday.
He contacted her and the two exchanged descriptions and pictures before Young was reunited with Martin on Saturday.
Young took Martin to an animal hospital to have him checked out. No signs of physical injuries were found.
