FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- Bob Leonard, Jr., will spend life in prison without parole for his role in the 2012 Richmond Hill Explosion.

Leonard was sentenced Friday after being convicted in February on 51 felony counts for the deadly insurance fraud scheme.

The explosion destroyed the home of Monserrate Shirley – Leonard's brother's girlfriend at the time – and killed her neighbors Dion and Jennifer Longworth.

Police and prosecutors accused Leonard of setting the explosion in motion. For his role, they said he'd been promised $10,000. Police also found golf clubs belonging to Shirley's husband in Leonard's trailer.
