An infant born via caesarean section after his mother was killed in a crash Friday night has died, officials said.Angelica Thrash, 25, was driving north on State Road 25 near Buck Creek in Tippecanoe County just before midnight when her vehicle hit a tractor-trailer before crashing into a telephone pole.Doctors were able to perform an emergency C-section and delivered the baby alive, but the infant died Tuesday morning, the coroner confirmed.Thrash was reportedly seven months pregnant and her 3-year-old and 7-year-old children were also in the car at the time of the crash."I saw two little boys in the car trying to get towards their mother, and there was a power line down, so I had to clear that and get the boys out of that area," Lt. Tom Davison said.Police said Thrash's two children were not seriously hurt. The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
