Actor Neil Patrick Harris sold his home in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, for the asking price of $2.995 million. The six bedroom, 4.5 bathroom estate spans 4,191-square-feet. The former "Doogie Howser, M.D." star purchased the property in 2010 for $2.1 million under ND Visible Trust. The trustee is Paul Papile, the registered agent for Neil Patrick Harris, Inc. Harris listed the property on June 25, 2014.
Miami Heat player Chris Bosh listed his home in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles for $14.5 million, after renting it out for $45,000 a month. He already owns a $12.3 million mansion in Miami. The ocean-view gated estate has an infinity pool, bar area with billiards and a movie theater.
Country music stars Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood reportedly want to sell their 4-bedroom ranch home in Malibu for an undisclosed sum. They picked it up in 2008 for a reported $4,950,000. Variety reports that the couple is asking for $7.5 million for the home, which has an outdoor fireplace and is within walking distance of Paradise Cove beach.
The former estate of the late singer-songwriter John Denver in Aspen, Colorado, is for sale. The house and guesthouse, previously used as a recording studio, are on the market for $10.75 million. After Denver died in 1997, the property was sold to the current homeowners, who use it as a vacation home. They added a hot tub and custom woodwork in the kitchen cabinets. The property has four indoor fireplaces and an outdoor one.
"Saved by the Bell" star Mark-Paul Gosselaar bought this home in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood of Los Angeles for $2.3 million. The five-bedroom home has plenty of room for the actor and his wife's recent addition to the family, a baby boy, plus his two children from his first marriage.
"Scary Movie" actress Carmen Electra bought this Mediterranean villa in the Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles for $2.6 million. The four-bedroom, five-bathroom home spans 5,255 square feet and was built in 1986.
Heidi Klum sold her Los Angeles mansion that she reportedly bought with ex-husband Seal in 2010. According to the property records, "Milk & Chocolate LLC" purchased the property for $14.2 million in 2010. The home officially hit the market on July 7, 2014 for $25 million and it was sold for $24 million. The eight-bedroom, 10-bathroom home spans 12,300-square-feet and sits on 8.52 acres of property. The celebrity-owned estate was built in 1999 and has a 24-hour gated entrance, according to the listing.
Variety reports that supermodel Miranda Kerr has purchased a three-bedroom home in Malibu for$2.15 million. The home is walking-distance to the beach plus has a pool, pool house, and a detached gym. Kerr and actor Orlando Bloom split in 2013 and listed their home in Hollywood Hills for $4.5 million.
The ornate Las Vegas palace rented by the late Michael Jackson is listed for $19.5 million. It was his home during the isolated years before his death in 2009. In fact, the King of Pop was the last tenant in the 24,000-square-foot estate, and his portrait still hangs above the fireplace. The home was built first in Mexico, then transported brick-by-brick and reassembled as a 1.7-acre estate with free-ranging horses, a 74-seat medieval chapel and a secret art vault. The owner has used the home occasionally after Jackson moved out in 2009 and died on June 25, 2009 in Los Angeles.
"That '70s Show" actress Mila Kunis is selling her 5,000-square-foot Mediterranean-style home in Los Angeles. She bought it for $2.885 million in 2008 and is positioned to make more than $1 million on the home if she gets her asking price of$3.995 million.
Ashton Kutcher just sold his glassy bachelor pad in the Hollywood Hills, getting $9,925,000 for the home he was quietly shopping for $12 million. He bought the place right after he separated from Demi Moore. He lived there happily until he and Mila Kunis learned they were expecting a baby. Together, they bought a more family-friendly place in Beverly Hills. She also just listed her bachelorette pad, asking $3,995,000.
Catherine Zeta-Jones is selling her 6,600-square-foot colonial home in Bedford, N.Y. Zeta-Jones moved into the home during her separation from Michael Douglas. Since their recent reconciliation, she has decided to sell the 6-bedroom, 6-bathroom home for $8.1 million. The property spans 5.7 acres, is surrounded on 3 sides by Bedford's preeminent horse farm, and features a new guesthouse and a master suite with huge closets and a dressing room. The couple bought this home in 2010 for $5.075 million.
Actress Reese Witherspoon bought a second home in Nashville, Tennessee, paying $1,950,000 for a stately mansion that's in a sad state of disrepair. Described as a "once in a generation opportunity," the four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home is from the 1930s, and it sits on 6.5 acres. Reese already owns one home in Nashville, which she bought for $760,000 in 2005. She and her husband Jim also have their home in Brentwood, California, on the market as a pocket listing for $14 million.
After multiple price drops, actor Bruce Willis struggled to sell his Hacienda-style Beverly Hills mansion. After two years, he sold the estate for $16.5 million. It has eight bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, 10,379 square feet and a pool. Willis bought it for $9 million in June 2004. He and his wife Emma and their two daughters have reportedly relocated to New York City. According to Redfin, it was first listed for $22 million around May 2013 and then dropped to $19.995 million. A year later the price dropped again to $18 million. The gated property has a tennis court and art screening room.
New York Yankees third baseman, Alex Rodriguez, has bought actress Meryl Streep's Los Angeles home for two-thirds of the original asking price at $4.5 million. Streep had originally listed the four-bedroom, four-bathroom house for $6.75 million.
Actress Julia Styles, from "10 Things I Hate About You" and "Silver Linings Playbook," sold her Gramercy Park condo for $2.7 million in New York City, where she was raised. The 2,081-square-foot, 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath condo has a private rooftop deck and a balcony off the living room. She first listed the property, which also has two small fireplaces, in the summer of 2013.
"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Phaedra Parks listed her 4,000-square-foot home with five bedrooms and six bathrooms for $340,900.
Award-winning architect Richard Landry just listed his Malibu home for $8.995 million. The five-bedroom, four-bathroom home spans 4,504-square-feet. He has designed homes for celebrities like Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady, Wayne Gretzky and Mark Wahlberg.
Actress Shirley MacLaine listed her Plaza Blanca Ranch in Abiquiu, New Mexico. The Academy Award winner used the 7,450-acre property as a place to meditate and write. She has separate residences, and she added a spiritual retreat space in a subterranean level. The new-age thinker told the Wall Street Journal that she consulted a psychic about the listing price and decided upon $18 million.
Actress Renee Zellweger's Connecticut home is on the market for $1.6 million. The home was built in 1770 and updated in 2004, the year she bought the home for $1.32 million. The property spans 38 acres.
"Real Housewives of Orange County" reality television star Vicki Gunvalson is selling her home in Coto de Caza, Calif., for $2.89 million. The five-bedroom, six-bathroom home in a gated community has a pool and waterfall.
Reality television star and designer Nicole Richie and her husband sold their Spanish colonial stylehome in Glendale, Calif., for $1.84 million. The home has four bedrooms and four bathrooms. The reality star and fashion designer is wife to Joel Madden, vocalist of rock band Good Charlotte, and a mother of two. The home was first listed in April 2014 for $1.875 million.
The five-bedroom Mendham, New Jersey mansionof the late singer Whitney Houston, which was on and off the market since 2009, was sold in February 2014 to an investment company for $999,900. But a physician who happens to be a Houston fan bought the 1987 mansion on five acres for $1.5 million.
Actor Wilford Brimley is putting his 276-acre horse ranch near Greybull, Wyoming, on the market for$1.25 million. The property comes with two homes and 160 acres of irrigated land with grazing property for cattle. Brimley is known for films like Cocoon (1985) and commercials for Quaker Oatmeal.
Divorced musical duo Taye Diggs and Idina Menzel, pictured inset in 2013, are selling their Studio City home, in Los Angeles, for $3 million. The couple, who met while actors in the musical "Rent," announced divorce plans in December 2013. They bought the six-bedroom, five-bathroom home in 2010 for $2.09 million.
Paris Hilton is reportedly renting this Malibu Beach house during July 2014. When she vacates at the end of the month, the home is available for rent, for $65,000 a month. The Malibu home has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, 2,600 square feet and a large beachfront deck.
A Park Avenue apartment that was the childhood home of Jackie Kennedy, the wife of President John F. Kennedy, is on the market for $44 million.
"Dexter" star Michael C. Hall just listed his Los Angeles home for $4.5 million. The six-bedroom, six-bathroom home spans 5,618 square feet. It was built in 1923.
"The Hangover" star Justin Bartha just sold his rustic home in Los Angeles for $1.385 million. The Laurel Canyon Spanish villa was built in 1934 and is full of old-world charm, with beautiful hardwood flooring and wood-beamed ceilings
Jack Osbourne has bought a new home for $3.2 million in the Studio City area of Los Angeles. The beige-and-white Cape Cod-style house has five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a backyard with a pool and outdoor kitchen, and a high-tech security system with 16 high-resolution cameras inside and outside.
Hotelier Leona Helmsley's summer home in Greenwich, Connecticut, where she died in 2007, has been completely renovated and is back on the market for $65 million. Helmsley and her husband had added a marble dance floor above the swimming pool in the 17,493-square foot estate.
Reality television stars Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian are renting a 9,000-square-foot, five-bedroom mansion in North Sea Harbor, in Southampton, Long Island, while filming "Kourtney and Khloe Take The Hamptons." Page Six reports the three-acre property is rented for $300,000 for the summer.
Actress Jane Fonda listed her 2,000-acre ranch in Santa Fe, New Mexico, for $19.5 million. Her home is a 9,586-sq. ft. adobe with six bedrooms and five bathrooms. There is also a five-bedroom guest house on the property she bought in 2000. In a statement, Fonda, 76, said the ranch "has been a sanctuary and a place of great joy and recreation for me and my family," the Wall Street Journal reported, and she is selling because "many changes have occurred in my life since 2000 and I am no longer able to spend as much time on the ranch as I once was."
Actress Faye Dunaway, of "Bonnie and Clyde" and "Mommie Dearest," has listed Hollywood her duplex for $1.75 million. Her Oscar and Emmy are on the mantle in listing photos for the two-bedroom, two-bathroom home, which she bought in 1998 for $315,000.
Frank Sinatra's former 3,200-square-foot residence in New York City nicknamed the"Glittering Grotto" by Andy Warhol has been listed at $4.995 million. It has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows and two wraparound terraces. The master suite upstairs includes a wet bar and the master bedroom is elevated.
Television host Ellen DeGeneres sold the Brody House after just six months of ownership, Los Angeles agent Kurt Rappaport confirmed. Neighboring the Playboy Mansion, the home sits on 2.3 acres, with four bedrooms and four rooms for staff. The property also has a one-bedroom guesthouse. DeGeneres paid $39.9 million around January 2014. The latest sale price is not recorded yet, though TMZ reports DeGeneres made millions in profit.
Courteney Cox and her ex-husband, David Arquette, have reportedly found a buyer for theirBeverly Hills estate. Listed for 19.5 million, the Mid-Century style home is in escrow for about $18 million. The rumored buyer is successful producer, songwriter and Grammy-award winner Dr. Luke.
After selling Beats to Apple for $3 billion, Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine are rolling in money. Dr. Dre recently bought a house that belonged to Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen. Now Dr. Dre is selling the mansion that he bought in 2011 for $15.4 million. He listed it for $35 million, just $5 million less than he reportedly paid for Tom and Gisele's super-estate.
A Hollywood home that belonged to the late actress and singer Betty Grable is on the market for $13.295 million. Grable starred alongside Marilyn Monroe in the 1953 film How to Marry a Millionaire, and she is referred to as the most popular pin-up girl of World War II. Grable moved into the six-bedroom home in 1937 and after she moved out in the late '40s, celebrities like Jaclyn Smith from "Charlie's Angels" have lived there.
A Florida music publisher has paid $925,000 for the historic Nashville home and recording studio of "Cowboy" Jack Clement, a legendary country musician who died in August 2013. Clement, a beloved singer-songwriter, built a recording studio in the upstairs of the home at 3405 Belmont Blvd in Nashville. Clement was the first to record Jerry Lee Lewis and Roy Orbison, and Johnny Cash was his best friend, according to Clement's obituary in The Tennessean.
Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima listed her Midtown Manhattan apartment for $5.5 million. With views of Central Park, the 2,200-square-foot condo on West 57th St. has a white-gloved 24-hour doorman and concierge. She bought it for $1.995 million in 2003.
"Glee" star Naya Rivera sold her four-bedroom home in Beverly Hills for $1.93 million. The Cheerio listed her home with a salt-water pool in late March for $2.1 million and sold it in late June.
Microsoft founder Bill Gates now reportedly owns a four-bedroom home in in Wellington, Fla., for which he paid $8.7 million in cash. It's much smaller than his five-acre estate on Lake Washington, eight miles east of Seattle.
Pharrell Williams cut the price of his five-bedroom Miami penthouse to $10.9 million. He first listed it in November 2012 for $16.8 million. He bought the 9,000-square-foot duplex with swimming pool for $12.525 million in 2007.
Lance Armstrong sold his lake house for an undisclosed amount after owning it for six weeks. The 12,553-square-foot home has a 200-foot suspension bridge leading to a private boathouse on Lake Austin.
Octavia Spencer bought a 1,714-square-foot Toluca Lake home for $841,500, according to property records, Zillow.com reported. The 1927 Spanish-style home features dark hardwood floors and vintage tiles.
Scarlett Johansson sold her one-bedroom, two-bath unit in the Hollywood Versailles Tower for $470,000, the Los Angeles Times reported. The condo has hardwood floors, granite countertops, gold sinks, and a dressing-room vanity surrounded by stage lights.
Jackie Chan's former home in Beverly Hills is on sale for $9.5 million. Chan owned the 7,638-square-foot home for several years. The home has a wet bar with a wine cellar, an intricate golden staircase and stained-glass windows in the master bathroom.
Cher bought her two-story home in Beverly Hills for $2.145 million. Spanning 3,089 square feet, the four-bedroom home has a master suite with two fireplaces, a bath with double showers and giant closet.
Country music stars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill listed 753 acres in Franklin, Tenn., for $20 million. The property has four homes and a 12-stall barn with a caretaker's apartment. In 2001, they bought one of the homes and its 400.7 acres for $8.75 million.
Actress Goldie Hawn and actor Kurt Russell sold their four-bedroom Malibu home for $9.5 million, the L.A. Times reported, after renting it out for $90,000 a month and listing it for $14.749 million in July 2011. The couple moved into the home in the mid-80s.
Richard Gere listed his 12-bedroom, 12-bathroom home in the Hamptons for $65 million. The manor is a six-acre estate with waterfront views, a personal dock, a pool, an outdoor fireplace pavilion and a "tea house." Three separate lots contain two guesthouses.
Ryan Reynolds is listing his Hollywood Hills home for the third time at a lower price of $1.599 million. He bought the two-bedroom home for $1.715 million before his marriage to actress Scarlett Johansson.
Actress Maggie Quigley, better known as Maggie Q, bought Aaron Wood's Mill for $1.23 million, Celebuzz reported. The historic landmark, located above a creek in Pound Ridge, N.Y., was built in 1860 and has since been renovated.
Shakira has listed her six-bedroom, nine-bathroom home in Miami Beach for $14.95 million. According to the listing, the Colombian singer remodeled the property to create a "Zen sanctuary", which has a deck that faces the bay.
Comedien Ellen DeGeneres and actress Portia de Rossi increased the price of their horse ranch in Thousand Oaks, Calif., by $2 million to $12.995 million with renovations. The home made the cover of Architectural Digest and Elle Decor in April 2013.
British boyband One Direction reportedly rented a yacht-like, gated mansion in the Sherman Oaks/Bel-Air area at $27,000 a week during a tour. It has five bedrooms, a pool, 2-story glass walls, and was on the market recently for $6.749 million, Curbed reports.
Robert Redford's former five-bedroom home in Malibu hit the market for $15 million. Redford bought the "ultra-exclusive" beachfront home in 1986, and sold the home in 2001 for $5.8 million. It last sold in 2010 for $11,750,000.
Taylor Swift's six-bedroom childhood home in Reading, Pa., is on sale for $799,500. The current owners bought the house in 2007 for $480,000, shortly before Swift made it big. Swift moved to Nashville at age 14, then snagged a record contract.
Actor Jonathan Frakes and actress Genie Francis bought a home in the Woodland Hills area of Los Angeles for $1 million. The gated three-bedroom, three-bath home came with an antique barn and a detached work or entertainment space next to the two-car garage.
Robert Pattinson is reportedly renting this home in Beverly Hills with a heated swimming pool, steam room, library and spa. This 5-bed gated home, with city and mountain views from the terrace, last sold in April for $3.7 million.
Actor Leonardo DiCaprio has relisted his Malibu home with a $4.1 million cut, bringing the price down to $18.9 million according to Zillow. The home features "three separate units with a combined 7 bedrooms and 6 baths."
Dennis Quaid's Pacific Palisades is up for sale, according to Zillow. The $3.15 million home features four bedrooms, 4.5 baths and saltwater pool.
Actress Jennie Garth and actor Peter Facinelli sold a six-bed home in Toluca Lake in Los Angeles County for $3.99 million, two months before they divorced in June 2013. They bought it in 2003 for $1.35 million and tried to sell it in June 2010 for $5.995 million.
Cindy Crawford listed her three-bedroom Malibu beach front home as a rental at $19,500 a month for September-May, and $45,000 per month for June-August. The home is perched just off Pacific Coast Highway. A deck and steps lead down to the beach.
