Johnette Cruz joined RTV 6 in 2010 as host of the Noon segment, “It’s Your Business.” Now she is expanding her role at the station, as the new Traffic Reporter for Good Morning Indiana.

Before coming to RTV 6, Johnette served as Promotions Director for 92.3 WTTS-FM. Prior to that, she worked at Clear Channel Radio as a promotions assistant and on-air personality for the Indianapolis Cluster.

The broadcast veteran has experience from across the United States, including stops in New York, California, Virginia and Nevada… but she most enjoys calling central Indiana home.

“Indianapolis is such an exciting city,” Cruz said. “With its world class sporting events, diverse communities, and growing population and economy, it is the perfect place to live and raise a family.”

A young mother and wife, Johnette is very involved in the community. In her spare time, she assists in the Creative Media and Worship & Arts Ministries at Mount Pleasant Christian Church and for Tabor Ministries. She also volunteers for Wings of Hope, a cancer ministry that provides emotional and physical support to those dealing with the disease.
