Police say they're trying to determine who took six golf carts and a beverage cart from a golf course's garage, drove them on the course, vandalized them and dumped them into a pond on Monday night. The joyriders broke out the vehicles' windows and poked holes in some of the hoods before putting them into a pond near the parking lot of The Trophy Club golf course in Lebanon, according to the Boone County Sheriff's Department.Monday's incident was the third involving carts since last year. In August, part of the grounds were damaged when someone did some joyriding on the carts, and five cars were damaged in December, the public golf course said."Unfortunately, they made a return visit to us (Monday)," said B.G. Winings, director of The Trophy Club. The sheriff's department said investigators found no sign of forced entry to the garage in the latest case. Information on how the joyriders were able to access the carts wasn't available. The Trophy Club said it is offering a $500 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case, 6News' Jennifer Carmack reported.
