INDIANAPOLIS - A man died Friday morning following a Thursday afternoon shooting on the city's northwest side.
The shooting occurred at roughly 1 p.m. Thursday in the 4500 block of Rosewood Commons Way, near 56th Street and Georgetown Road.
Police said they found Randall Parker, 32, of Indianapolis, shot multiple times. He was taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital in critical condition. Early Friday, detectives were informed that Parker had died.
IMPD said investigators are still working on identifying the shooter, but they believe a small compact gray vehicle was seen leaving the scene of the shooting. Detectives don't think this shooting was random.
