MADISON COUNTY, Ind. - One person was killed and another person was seriously injured after a two-vehicle crash in Madison County late Friday, police said.
The crash was reported just after 11 p.m. at the intersection of State Road 38 near County Road 675 West. The details leading up to the crash were not immediately released, but police said the vehicles hit each other head-on.
One driver was pronounced dead at the scene and the other driver was flown to IU Health Methodist Hospital with serious injuries.
The Madison County Accident Team is investigating the crash.
