INDIANAPOLIS - One man was killed and another man was injured in a shooting at a south side bar Monday night, police said.
Metro police responded to Krazy Street Grille near Thompson Road and U.S. 31 about 11 p.m. on reports of shots fired.
Police said Joshua Bolin, 29, of Greenwood, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses told police Bolin was shot several times.
Tuesday, police arrested Brandon Hicks, 24, of Indianapolis, in connection with the shooting.
Hicks was taken to Wishard Memorial Hospital Monday night with non-life-threatening injuries after he accidentally shot himself in the leg while bar employees were detaining him, police said.
Detectives said they are interviewing several witnesses about what prompted the shootings.
The investigation is ongoing.
