1 injured in shooting near Crown Hill

INDIANAPOLIS - At least one man was injured in a shooting on the north side late Sunday evening.

Indianapolis police (IMPD) detectives were called to the scene of a shooting at roughly 10 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of 40th Street and Boulevard Place.

Police said a man told them he was shot in the leg when he and three other men exited a barber shop in the area. The men ran from the scene of the shooting and called for an ambulance near the intersection of 36th and Illinois streets.

Police said they're questioning two of the men in the group.
