INDIANAPOLIS - One person was killed and another injured after a shooting on the west side Sunday night.
Indianapolis police said the shooting occurred on the 900 block of North King Avenue, near the intersection of King and West 10th Street, at 7:42 p.m. Sunday.
The two victims were taken to Eskenazi Hospital, where one, later identified as Deshawn Ward, 19, died of his injuries.
The second victim, 20-year-old Dominique Baquet, was reportedly in fair condition just after 8:30 p.m.
Police said no suspects have been arrested. They have not released a motive for the crime.
