WAYNE COUNTY, Ind. - One person was killed and 18 people were hospitalized after a crash involving a Greyhound bus and a stolen car on Interstate 70 near Richmond.
The crash was reported just before 7:30 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-70 near mile marker 149, Indiana State Police said.
Police said Greyhound bus No. 1679 was traveling from eastbound St. Louis and passing through Indiana en route to New York City. Twenty four passengers, including the driver, were on the bus.
Just before the collision, a 1990 Ford Mustang had been reported stolen from the Love's Truck Stop at 2698 U.S. Highway 35 North.

The Mustang and the bus collided in the eastbound lanes, causing massive damage to the car. Lloyd was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the bus was airlifted to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Eighteen passengers from the bus were taken to Reid Hospital, about two miles away from the site of the crash. Two relief buses were dispatched to the hospital to pick up the passengers, officials confirmed.
