INDIANAPOLIS - One person was injured Thursday in a shooting and robbery on the west side.
Indianapolis police were dispatched to the Westlake Apartments on the 6000 block of Beachview Drive just after 1 p.m. Thursday.
They arrived to find a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound, but alert and conscious. He was taken to Eskenazi Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
IMPD officers said the victim was apparently shot during a robbery.
Police said they were looking for two suspects.
