INDIANAPOLIS - A 1-year-old child was taken to Riley Hospital for Children with minor injuries after a golf cart accident at the Indiana State Fair on Wednesday evening.
Officials said two children climbed into a vendor golf cart with keys inside on the north side of the fairgrounds.
The older of the two children hit the gas pedal and an 18-month-old child may have fallen out of the cart or bumped into it, officials said.
The child did not suffer serious injuries, but was taken to Riley as a precaution.
