The affected bicycles cost between $200 and $10,000.

The problem leading to the recall lies with the front disc brakes. There have been three incidents in which a lever on a bicycle’s front wheel hub came into contact with the disc brake assembly, causing the bicycle to suddenly stop. One person suffered a broken finger as well as wrist and shoulder injuries.

Anybody with these bicycles should stop using them immediately and contact the company for free installation of a new quick release.

They were manufactured in China, Japan, Poland, Switzerland and Taiwan.
