FAIRMOUNT, Ind. – A teen was struck and killed by a train Thursday afternoon in Fairmount.
Fairmount police said 13-year-old Bryce Deeter of Fairmount was hit by the train around 4:40 p.m. in the 500 block of South Factory Street.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
Police did not release any details on how the incident happened, but they believe it to be an accidental death and do not suspect foul play.
