BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. - Friends and family are mourning a Columbus teen who was killed in a car wreck over the weekend.
The Columbus Republic reports that Bartholomew County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the crash just after 11:45 p.m. Saturday night at the intersection of county roads 550 West and 250 South (see map below).
Investigators said they found that a car had somehow flipped and a female passenger, Delanie V. Scroghan, 17, was partially thrown from the car. She was unresponsive when emergency crews arrived.
Scroghan was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
