IMPD: 2 arrested in death of pizza delivery driver

Suspects found in Wyoming

INDIANAPOLIS - Police arrested two men in connection with the death of 49-year-old John Sullivan on Tuesday.

Jeremiah Roberts, 26, and Derek Romano, 22, were arrested on murder and robbery charges. Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said the men were caught in Buffalo, Wyo.

Officials said Sullivan’s car was also recovered.

Sullivan was found dead in a basement on the city’s southwest side Sunday morning. Investigators said he may have been lured to the home while he was working as a pizza delivery driver.

Police said Sullivan had been delivering a pizza on South Belmont Avenue and had not been seen since. Family members and co-workers said they repeatedly tried calling Sullivan's phone, but no one picked up.

Detectives said there were no full-time residents living at the home where Sullivan was found, which serves as a sort of dog rescue center.
