INDIANAPOLIS -
Two children were injured in a crash involving a semi-tractor-trailer on the city's near south side early Saturday, Indianapolis Fire Department officials said.
About 8:30 a.m., a semi-tractor-trailer collided with a minivan at the intersection of Raymond and Shelby streets. A witness said the van was headed south on Shelby Street just before the crash, IFD officials said.
The drivers of both vehicles were not hurt, but two children in the van, ages 6 and 8, were rushed to Riley Hospital for Children with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
