INDIANAPOLIS - Two fires damaged a building and a garage on the city's south side early Friday.
The first fire was reported just before 1 a.m. at a two-story brick building in the 2500 block of Shelby Street.
Firefighters said flames and smoke could be seen pouring from the second floor of the building.
Crews got the fire under control in about 30 minutes and detectives estimated about $150,000 in damages to the building.
The second fire sparked inside a garage near a home on Minnesota Street on the city's southeast side.
Crews were called to the scene just after 2 a.m. and were able to quickly douse the flames.
No injuries were reported in either fire and their causes remained under investigation.
