2 people shot, vehicle hits apartment building on Indianapolis' east side
Both victims in serious condition

INDIANAPOLIS - Two people were shot, one fatally, before crashing a pickup truck into an apartment building on Indianapolis' east side Friday night, police said.
Police confirmed the identity of the victim was 21-year-old Timothy Denny of Indianapolis.
Officials have also named a person of interest. Detectives would like to talk to 22-year-old Kenneth L. Brittain.
Brittain is described as a black male, 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing approximately 225 pounds.
The incident was reported just after 10:30 p.m. at the Village Plaza Apartments near 16th Street and Arlington Avenue.
Witnesses said a pickup truck was being chased through the neighborhood by another vehicle when it crashed into one of the buildings.
Denny was found shot to death in the truck. A woman in the truck, who was also shot, was taken to Wishard Memorial Hospital in serious condition.
Neighbors told RTV6 they heard that the incident started at a nearby gas station.
The building struck by the truck was unoccupied, police said.
