INDIANAPOLIS - Police said thanks to a tip, a vehicle linked to a hit-and-run crash was found. Officers are still looking for two persons of interest in the wreck that left an Indianapolis man critically injured.
Metro police want to speak with Felicia Moss, 30, and Nikia Acuff, 29, about the Tuesday afternoon crash that critically injured 59-year-old Michael Robertson.
Robertson later died from his injuries.
The crash happened near 18th and Sheldon streets about 1 p.m.
IMPD detectives said just after 4 p.m. Wednesday that they found the 1998 green four-door Chevrolet Malibu with the Indiana license plate OFP531 that was seen leaving the area of the crash. The vehicle is reportedly registered to Moss.
"I have no doubt that these two ladies know that police want to talk to them, and my suggestion is, let's just get this over with," said Lt. Chris Bailey, with IMPD. "Turn yourselves in, tell us your side of the story. Tell us what happened and own up to what occurred."
