2015 Indy murder suspect arrested in Kentucky

A suspect in a 2015 Indianapolis killing has been arrested in Kentucky.

Robert Lasley, 29, was arrested in Newport, Kentucky on Saturday.

Lasley is accused of killing Michael Killebrew, 30, on Dec. 1, 2015 in the 1000 block of W. 29th Street. He has been charged with murder, attempted murder and unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon.

Police say he shot Killebrew outside his house at about 7 a.m.

Killebrew died on Jan. 16, 2016.

He is awaiting extradition back to Marion County.
