3 injured in 3-car crash

26-year-old woman in critical condition

INDIANAPOLIS - Three people were taken to the hospital after a multi-car crash on the southwest side Wednesday morning.

The crash happened just before 9 a.m. at the intersection of Thompson Road and Harding Street, Indianapolis fire officials said.

Two people in a Chevy Cobalt -- driver Andrew Gorman, 28, and passenger Andrea Watson, 26 -- were trapped in their vehicle and had to be pulled out by firefighters.

Watson was listed in critical condition, and Gorman was stable, officials said.

Another driver -- Roger Cline Gibson Jr., 25 -- was injured and taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Brian Thompson, 42, was driving a Kia that was also involved in the crash, but he was not injured.
