HENRY COUNTY, Ind. -
A man killed his ex-wife and another man before taking his own life in rural Henry County early Tuesday, police said.
Deputies were called to a home at 6462 North County Road 200 West just after 1:30 a.m.
They found Ruth Webb, 38, who lived in the home, and Robert Morrow, 42, of Markleville, dead inside from apparent gunshot wounds.
Just after 7:30 a.m., officers found a van in the area of County Road 850 North and 300 West.
Ruth Webb's ex-husband, Johnny Webb, 39, of Middletown, was found dead inside from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said.
Investigators believe Johnny Webb went to his ex-wife's home and shot her and Morrow before taking his own life.
“They seemed to be pretty nice people,” said neighbor Lora Jarvis. “Every time they’d go by, they’d always wave.”
Jarvis said she often saw Ruth and her daughter and she knew that Ruth was divorced, but rarely saw her ex-husband.
Jarvis and other neighbors told RTV6 they did not hear gunshots.
