INDIANAPOLIS -
Three people were injured in a chain reaction crash involving a semi tractor-trailer, an Indiana Department of Transportation vehicle and a car early Wednesday on Interstate 465 near the city's southeast side, officials said.
The crash happened just after 2:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-465 near Brookville Road when the semi crashed into the INDOT construction vehicle, which struck a car.
All three drivers were taken to Methodist Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash blocked traffic on I-465 for at least an hour as crews worked to clear the scene.
