30 vehicles broken into at security company

INDIANAPOLIS -- Employees at an east side security manufacturing business ended their shifts Wednesday to find that about 30 vehicles in the parking lot had been broken into.

The business, Allegion, is a global safety and security company, with more than 9,000 employees in 30 countries. Its headquarters is in Dublin, Ireland.

According to its website, Allegion creates locks for houses and businesses.

The location where the break-ins happened is at 2720 Tobey Dr.

A spokesperson with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said they are investigating the approximately 30 break-ins.

No suspect information is available.
