4 injured in two parade-related incidents in Lebanon

15-year-old taken to Riley with serious injuries

LEBANON, Ind. - Four people were injured in two parade-related incidents at the Lebanon Fourth of July Celebration on Thursday afternoon, officials with the Lebanon Police Department said.

Three people were injured just before 4 p.m. after they fell off of a parade float immediately after the parade near Lebanon Middle School, police said.

All three people were taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Police said one of the victims was a 15-year-old who was taken to Riley Hospital for Children with serious internal injuries.

Another incident happened earlier in the afternoon but details were still being gathered. The victim in that incident was also taken to the hospital, police said.

Both incidents were under investigation by the Lebanon Police Department.
