INDIANAPOLIS - A group of five co-workers at an Indianapolis medical claims office won the $1 million prize in Saturday night's Powerball drawing.
Tracy Williams, Vivian Nickleson, Denyse Tyson, Michelle Smith and Yolanda Mohid took home $200,000 each before taxes.
Williams said she purchased the group's winning ticket at a Speedway gas station in the 8100 block of East 21st Street, the same retailer that recently sold a $9.5 million Hoosier Lotto ticket.
The lucky ladies all hail from Indianapolis and opted to call their group "Blessed." They were all smiles as they talked and laughed about what they plan to do with their winnings. All five winners say they plan to make donations to their churches and four of the ladies are hoping to take a trip together.
"We're going to Disney World as a group," said Smith.
"Or maybe Vegas and keep the streak going!" added Mohid with a laugh.
The ladies' ticket matched the first five numbers, but not the Powerball number, in Saturday night's drawing.
The Feb. 23 winning numbers were: 2-5-31-39-41 PB: 29.
No one matched all six numbers Saturday, which allowed the Powerball jackpot to grow to an estimated $90 million for Wednesday's drawing.
