DEARBORN COUNTY, Ind. -
State police found 50 pounds of marijuana in a car during a traffic stop Thursday on Interstate 74 in Dearborn County.
Police said about 2 p.m., a state trooper stopped a 2010 Chevrolet Impala for speeding on I-74 near mile marker 164.
During the traffic stop, the trooper suspected possible criminal activity and requested a K9 officer for assistance.
After searching the vehicle, police found the driver, Ashley Love, 32, of Indianapolis, with $50,000 worth of marijuana bound for Cincinnati.
Love was taken into custody at the Dearborn County Jail on felony charges of dealing marijuana.
