Local pediatric dentists offer tips for new parents
INDIANAPOLIS -- It's spring cleaning time again – and dentists say you should include your children's teeth in the cleanup.
Pediatric dentists say you should establish a dental home by the age of 1 with a dentist who specializes in children.
Their second recommendation: A healthy bedtime routine.
"Start developing good habits early on, so wipe the gums at least with a wet wash cloth," said Dr. Swati Singh, of Smiling Kids Pediatric Dentistry.
Tip No. 3: Make smart food choices.
